AdaptHealth Patient Sensitive Data Stolen

In June 2026, cyber attackers used social engineering techniques to gain unauthorized access to AdaptHealth’s cloud-based business applications, including internal patient management systems and document storage platforms. Following the unauthorized access, the cyber attackers reportedly stole patients’ personally identifiable information, protected health information, and passwords associated with insurance billing.
