Madera Community Hospital Data Breach Affects Thousands

In May 2025, Madera Community Hospital, an acute care facility with approximately 150,000 patients, detected suspicious activity on its computer network. The company recently reported to state regulators that a third party acquired files from a portion of its network. These files may contain personal details, treatment and health insurance information, financial account data, and limited biometric information.
