WebTPA Data Breach Exposes 2.4 Million People
WebTPA is a health plan third-party administrator that provides support to hospitals and insurance carriers across the country. On December 28, 2023, WebTPA detected suspicious activity on its network and concluded that its systems had been compromised in April 2023. WebTPA provided information on affected individuals to health plans and insurance companies on March 25, 2024.
