Advance Auto Parts Data Breach Exposes Over 358,000 Employees
Advance Auto Part is an automotive parts provider with over 4,700 locations across North America. On June 5th, 2024, hackers claimed to be selling over 3TB of stolen data from Advance Auto Parts, which they allegedly obtained through breaching the company’s Snowflake cloud storage account. The hackers claim to have the personal information of over 358,000 current and former Advance Auto Parts employees. The exposed information reportedly includes: employment candidate information with Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, and demographic details.
