The DPH reported a data breach incident that occurred between February 19 and 20, 2024. An attacker gained the login credentials of 53 Public Health employees through a phishing email. Once the attack was discovered, the DPH disabled affected email accounts and reset the users’ devices. The DPH will mail notices to those affected by the breach.
