We are pleased to announce that Girard Sharp partner Dena Sharp has been recognized as a 2023 Titan of the Plaintiffs Bar by Law360, which this year honors 12 attorneys who “exemplify the challenging work of protecting the rights of consumers, no matter who is on the other side of the aisle.”
Law360 cited Dena’s work as co-lead counsel representing multiple classes of consumers in the JUUL e-cigarette litigation. The sweeping MDL charges JUUL Labs Inc. with having deceptively advertised vaping products to young people. After the classes were certified in June 2022, JUUL announced that it had settled the MDL claims for an undisclosed amount in December.
