Deepfake Images Generated Using Grok AI
Elon Musk, owner of X, posted Grok’s new AI image feature on December 24th which allows users to create AI images based on any user without their consent. On December 28th, Grok was prompted by an X user to alter an image of two girls, estimated to be 12-16, into sexual attire. Though pornographic material is banned on the social media platform, are still able to use Grok to create pornographic AI images of other users by using non-explicit prompts. Despite controversy, Elon Musk seemingly affirmed and promoted this deepfake feature on December 31st under Grok’s AI altered image of Musk in a bikini.
