Today, Partner Daniel Girard served as a panelist at a conference hosted by the Center on Civil Justice at NYU Law School entitled “COVID and the Courts.” The event was held as a digital conference. The conference explored how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the court system and the procedural changes that have taken place. Dan joined a panel discussing “Post-COVID: What Innovations Should We Keep?” NYU Law professor Troy McKenzie moderated, and panelists included District Judge Lee Rosenthal (S.D. Texas), Justice Nathan Hecht (Texas Sup. Ct.), Professor David Engstrom (Stanford), and Michael Young (JAMS). For more information on the event, click here.
