Maya advocates for plaintiffs in class actions and other complex litigation. Maya earned her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. In addition to her coursework, Maya interned for the California Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Section and the Federal Trade Commission. Maya also participated in Berkeley Law’s Consumer Justice Clinic with the East Bay Community Law Center.
Before attending law school, Maya was a policy advisor for United States Senator Richard Blumenthal in Washington, D.C. Maya handled consumer protection policy matters for the Senator in his capacity as Ranking Member of the Senate Commerce Subcommittee on Consumer Protection.
