LG Refrigerator Owners Can Make a Claim for Several Hundred Dollars

On August 19, 2020, U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo issued an order preliminarily approving a proposed class action settlement with LG, and authorized the Settlement Administrator, Angeion Group, to begin issuing notice to the class of over one and a half million refrigerator owners and accepting their claims to get a payment.

If your LG refrigerator stopped cooling you can make a claim for up to several hundred dollars at www.LGFridgeSettlement.com. Act now—the claim deadline is February 5, 2021.

American consumers who purchased a qualifying LG refrigerator after January 1, 2014 and experienced a No-Cooling Event, may be eligible for compensation and should submit a Claim Form to the Settlement Administrator. All of the details and information about the settlement are available at the Settlement Website, www.LGFridgeSettlement.com, or you may contact the Settlement Administrator by phone, email, or mail using the contact information below. Class members can submit a Claim Form until February 5, 2021 and may be eligible for a substantial cash payment if their LG Refrigerator stopped cooling within five years of purchase.

Attorneys Daniel Girard, Jordan Elias, Adam Polk, and Simon Grille represent plaintiffs in this action along with co-counsel from Berger Montague and Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith.
