On December 18, 2020, U.S. District Judge Madeline Cox Arleo granted final approval of a class settlement with LG Electronics U.S.A., Inc. that benefits owners of approximately 1,550,000 refrigerators sold with an alleged design defect that causes them to stop cooling. The deadline for making a claim under the settlement was February 5, 2021.
