Girard Sharp Partner Sarah London was recently featured on Orlando, Florida’s CBS affiliate discussing our recently filed lawsuit against Roblox and Discord.
The interview focused on our joint filing with Anapol Weiss on behalf of a minor who was sexually exploited through these platforms. London discussed how Roblox and Discord designed and maintain platforms that enable predators to access, groom, and exploit vulnerable children while failing to implement basic safety measures.
The lawsuit is part of mounting legal challenges against these platforms, which also face investigations from state attorneys general. The litigation aims not only to seek justice for the affected minor but also to drive systemic changes in how online platforms protect their young users.
