Designed Receivable Solutions Exposes Over 585k Customers
Designed Receivable Solutions is a medical debt collection company based in California. On January 22, the company detected that hackers had achieved unauthorized access to its network. The compromised data reportedly includes first and last name, date of birth, address, employer name, telephone number, email address and Social Security number and, in certain cases, payment-related information (insurance/payer information and identification number, internal account number).
For patients, this may also have included information related to your providers and the services you received (date of service, provider name, clinic location, service description, medical record number, internal patient identification number, and diagnosis codes).
