Hundreds of Complaints Report “Sonic Boom” Defect in Ford F1-50 Speakers
On June 14, 2023, Ford issued a technical service bulletin meant to address a “loud static noise” playing through the speakers of Ford F-150 2022 models. As hundreds of consumer complaints have surfaced online, dozens of Ford F-150 owners have also filed complaints with federal regulators concerning defective speakers. Ford itself has received about 100 complaints about this issue.
