Landa App Investors Unable to Cash Out Investments
Landa Holdings is facing a major legal battle against two of their lenders, Viola Credit and L Finance, over $35 million in loans. In December 2024, a judge ordered Landa to turn over control of 119 properties to an independent manager, following allegations of financial mismanagement and violations of loan agreements. According to an article published by Bisnow, Landa’s financial report filed on January 3, 202 revealed that they had lost “$1.8M during the first six months of [2024]”. Investors have reported difficulties accessing their funds, with many unable to cash out or recover their investments as Landa’s assets face liquidation to pay off debts.
