Maximus is a health and human services provider with commercial and government clients – it is the leading administrator of Medicaid enrollment broker services. On May 31, 2023, Maximus discovered that its system had been compromised in a cybersecurity breach involving its MoveIT Transfer Application. Maximus notified the public of the breach in an SEC filing on July 26, 2023.
