Global Net Lease Merger Stock Plummets Over 33%

Global Net Lease is a real estate investment trust that invests in income-producing properties across the U.S. and Europe. In September 2023, it merged with Necessity Retail, issuing Global Net shares to former Necessity Retail investors. The company had projected strong future cash flows, but after the merger, its stock price fell over 33%.
