SEC Files Complaint Alleging Ponzi Scheme by Daryl Heller, Prestige & Paramount
A complaint filed by the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 3rd, 2025, alleges that Daryl Heller, through his control of both Paramount and Prestige, orchestrated a scheme to falsely portray themselves as operating a profitable, nationwide ATM network that generated fixed monthly payments to investors from pooled ATM transaction fees and related income. Contrary to their representations, Heller, Prestige, and Paramount allegedly used only a fraction of investor funds to purchase ATMs, and instead used investor funds to pay investors, for personal expenses, such as a beach house and to finance personal businesses.
In Spring 2024, the scheme collapsed. As investors started making new investments, Defendants stopped making payments to existing investors.
On September, 3, 2025, the SEC sued Heller, Prestige, and Paramount alleging Defendants defrauded investors out of hundreds of millions of dollars.
