More Information on the Ram Power Steering Investigation
On August 4, 2023, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) opened an investigation into 2013-2016 Ram 1500 models for sudden losses of power steering assistance. NHTSA has received 380 complaints about this issue and three reports of crashes related to loss of power steering. NHTSA is now working to determine if 1.1 million Ram 1500 models should be recalled.
